Several attempts have been made to compile a bibliography on Mimar Sinan and his works. We present a new and more comprehensive compilation, which we compiled to determine where the hundreds of Sinan scholars have written. We found that anyone seeking to create a complete bibliography must bring together thousands of publications.
In previous attempts, we had observed that presenting the various components of the field of architecture in a simple list format was not particularly useful. This time, we aimed to provide a useful guide for future researchers by organizing studies on this broad and multifaceted subject under separate subheadings.
