The primary instrument featured in our book, titled 'Bağlama Album', is the 'tambura'. Due to its size, the melodies are written in the second line C (mezzo-soprano) clef. The reasons for this are explained in detail in the introduction. The melodies included in the book, on the other hand, can be grouped into five main categories: 1. Original compositions written for the saz;
2. Traditional folk music melodies;
3. Traditional art music melodies;
4. Adaptations from Western music;
5. Accompanied Melodies.
